Most kitchens are not replaced because they broke but because they stopped working for the household — too little storage, a hood that never cleared the smoke, doors that swelled. A renovation with Kitchen Stories replaces the old kitchen with a Häcker kitchen from Rödinghausen, Germany, planned into the room you already have.
We measure the room, plan and price the kitchen, and give your contractor a drawing of every service; your contractor removes the old kitchen and prepares the room; factory-trained teams fit the new one.

How a renovation runs
Bring photos of the kitchen you have
Visit the showroom with photos of your existing kitchen and the floor plan, or one measured wall. Tell the planner what fails today and how your household cooks.
Measure, plan and price
The planner measures the existing room and draws the new kitchen in Häcker's planning system. The quotation is itemised: kitchen, worktop and appliances shown separately.
Order, and a drawing for your contractor
When you order, your contractor gets our drawing of where water, drainage, power, gas and the hood duct must arrive. Removing the old kitchen and the civil, plumbing and electrical work sit with your contractor.
Keep cooking while it is built
The kitchen is manufactured in Rödinghausen and takes 16 to 18 weeks to arrive; the schedule is confirmed in writing at order. Time your contractor's strip-out for the final weeks, so you lose the old kitchen for as short a time as possible.
Fitted into a finished room
Once walls, floor and services are done and dry, factory-trained teams fit the assembled cabinets, align the fronts and hand the kitchen over.

A Häcker kitchen for a renovation starts at about ₹15 lakh for the kitchen itself — cabinets, fronts and fitting. Appliances and the worktop are priced separately, and your contractor's civil, plumbing and electrical work is separate too.
Within the kitchen, the price moves with three things: the size and layout, the Häcker front you choose — every front in aprice group costs the same — and the interior fittings. Appliances from Gaggenau, Miele, Siemens, Bosch and Liebherr are listed with their current MRP in theappliance catalog.

How much does a luxury kitchen renovation cost?
A Häcker kitchen for a renovation starts at about ₹15 lakh for the kitchen itself — cabinets, fronts and fitting. Appliances and the worktop are priced separately, and your contractor's civil, plumbing and electrical work is separate too. The figure that counts is the itemised quotation, drawn against your measured room.
Do you remove the old kitchen and do the civil work?
No — your own contractor removes the old kitchen and does the civil, plumbing, electrical and gas work. Kitchen Stories gives your contractor a drawing showing exactly where each service must arrive, then supplies and fits the Häcker kitchen.
How long will we be without a kitchen?
Less than you might think. The Häcker kitchen takes 16 to 18 weeks from order, and the old kitchen can stay in use for most of that time. Only the final stretch — your contractor's strip-out and services, then the fitting — needs the room empty, and its length depends on the contractor's work.
Can I keep my existing appliances?
Usually, if their dimensions and connections suit the new plan — tell the planner which ones you want to keep. Built-in appliances from Gaggenau, Miele, Siemens, Bosch and Liebherr can also be planned in new; they are priced separately from the kitchen.
Is a renovated kitchen planned differently from a kitchen in a new home?
The kitchen is the same Häcker kitchen; the planning starts from a different place. In a new home the planner works from the builder's drawing. In a renovation the existing room is measured as it stands, the fixed points — drainage, gas, structural walls — are noted, and your contractor gets a drawing of what must change before the kitchen arrives.
